Collaborative Support for Professionals

In addition to supervising counsellors and psychotherapists, I also  work with other professionals including those who work in health and care, education, emergency services etc.

Collaborative support offers a confidential space on a regular basis; it provides acceptance, understanding and encouragement in which you can reflect on and explore the demands, challenges and impact of your role on your professional and personal life.

When your life/work balance is out of kilter, you may feel anxious, stressed  and tired, lacking your usual energy; you may feel disengaged, less effective and less satisfied overall.

Together we will identify and reflect on the values which initially brought you to work in your profession and seek ways to best support you in that role, achieve a sustainable and more satisfying life/work balance and reduce the possibility of burnout.

On Joy and Sorrow by Kahil Gibran

”When you are joyous, look deep into your heart and you shall find it is only that which has given you sorrow that is giving your joy.

When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight.”

Length and frequency of meetings

Typically, collaborative support meetings are arranged monthly and last about 1 hour, but I am happy to discuss length and frequency of meetings that would best support you.

Fees & cancellations

My current fee is £45 per hour. If you are not able to attend a meeting, and do not give me at least 24 hours’ notice, then the full fee will be payable.
